What we think of havoc

Havoc is an extremely dangerous card. Although it has the potential to high roll and play expensive and powerful cards for zero energy, the fact that you do not get to pick the targets for the attack makes the card much worse. Furthermore, havoc exhausts the card, which means your win condition such as a supercharged searing blow could be exhausted. Other times, you might accidentally hit an enemy with thorns, accidentally reach a certain health threshold on a specific boss, or even accidentally exhaust your entire hand. Having a run end due to Havoc is extremely saddening. Cards such as warcry and headbutt allow you to choose which card havoc triggers, assuming you draw one of these cards alongside havoc and the card that you want is either in your discard pile or also in your hand (if this sounds unlikely to happen, it’s because it is). Note that X cost cards do not actually use any energy.
