What we think of fission

Fission is a fairly decent get out of jail card. On a dangerous turn, it can evoke all of your orbs 2 deal a lot of damage and generate a lot of block. The problem is that you now no longer have your orbs, So you typically have to use the draw and energy gain effects to replace the orbs that you spent. This isn't usually a problem, but if you draw fission too early you will have no orbs to evoke in the first place. Note that I am assuming you have upgraded this card: if you pick this card you must upgrade it. No questions asked.
