Recursion works best with dark orbs as they keep their stacks when they are re-evoked. As long as you have at least one or, recursion is never a dead draw. I usually prefer to upgrade Recursion as it can simply be played when drawn at 0 energy without much thought. However I would normally only pick this up if i'm running a dark deck.
