Although flex seems to perform well in lower ascensions, it lacks the value required to compete at higher ascensions. If drawn without any attacks in hand, it is effectively useless. It must affect 3 attacks in order to be better than Anger, which is easier said than done in ironclad. What's more, the strength debuff that it applies can consume your artifact stacks, which is usually a bad thing although in some instances using it to permanently gain 4 strength can be powerful.
No ironclad, colorless or curse cards supersynergies.
