What we think of Piercing Wail

Piercing Wail is one of the best common cards that the silent has. Although it might not look better than a simple defend, it affects multiple enemies and is even more effective versus multihit attacks (such as the Dagger Elite from Act 2 or the Heart’s 15-hit attack). Its only downside is that it exhausts, but to counteract this I would be happy to pick up two 3 copies of this card in my deck. Since the card is common, this is fairly easy to do. It is negated by artifact, but the simple fact that this card burns one artifact off each enemy for one energy means it is usually still worth it. Note that strength reduction is also more effective than block when you are vulnerable or frail.
