What we think of Lesson Learned

Better the earlier you get it. Note that the upgrades are permanent, not just for this encounter, and that the encounter does not benefit from the upgrade. If you pick up this card in act one, it is not uncommon to finish with a fully upgraded deck. When you have this card, consider taking more hallway fights than you normally would since it allows you to permanently upgrade a card at low risk. Although it might look silly to upgrade this, if it allows you to more consistently get an upgrade in your deck it is easily worth it. For obvious reasons, this card synergises extremely well with Fusion hammer.
