What we think of Eviscerate

I almost never pick eviscerate, as the conditions for making the card cheaper are very difficult to pull off. If you use a card to discard 2 cards, you now have 2 cards in hand one of which is eviscerate and have done nothing else. Ironically, discarding usually means that you float energy because you no longer have other cards to spend energy on. The best solution to this problem is drafting an acrobatics. Even at 2 energy, this card is not especially good, and only above average value when it reaches 1 energy or less, which can be difficult to pull off. Tools of the trade can help you manage this, and well laid plans allows you to have synergistic cards in hand at the same time. Note that eviscerate benefits greatly from strength, as one point of strength is equal to three points of damage.
