What we think of Envenom

The main problem with envenom is its high energy cost. It is a very slow acting source of damage and thus sometimes useless in hallway fights. It is a solid rare, although I typically find that other silent prayers are more powerful. Obviously, envenom synergises fairly well with shiv decks and extremely well with Snecko Skull, essentially doubling the amount of poison it applies. Due to it being a hybrid of a shiv deck and a poison deck, it is fairly niche in its use; on the other hand, it is not difficult to use even if the synergy is not at an extremely high power level.
