Exhaust.
Crescendo is a brilliant source of wrath. It has retain by default and when upgraded can be played for free. Since it retains, it can be used on the final turn of combat without any concern for retaliation damage. The only downside to this card is that it exhausts, and in some cases you might want up to two copies of crescendo have since other sources of wrath do not retain.
