Summon: Deal 5 damage to enemy units.
Molting imp is a common imp that is easy to fit into any deck. My favourite use of the melting imp is to throw him away as if casting a spell, almost an improved version of vent. Because the unit that stays behind is just a 1/1, there is no need to try to protect it; I would usually put the imp in front of my other units in order to take one instance of damage before dying and freeing up the spot. This unit is particularly good at killing squishy backline units, particularly in the early game. towards the end of the run come out back liners can have 15 20 or 25 health, so the imp is usually not enough on its own. It is worth noting that its effect improves when you use its essence, going from 5 damage to 15, but generally I don't think this is worth it unless you are trying to trigger Slay on a unit when it is first summoner. This might also be something you consider if you are running a transcendimp deck and want to make use of the improved summon. Generally, an okay filler card without any remarkable game-winning synergies.
