Branding right is a very interesting spell. Although it applies armor, since it has piercing, if you have no sources of healing there will always be a finite number of times that you can use this card on a unit before it dies. This spell is very versatile in that it can sometimes be used to instantly deal with enemy back line units, and simultaneously be used to beef up your tankier units. it can work surprisingly well on rejuvenates units, since they will likely heal back any damage taken whilst still making good use of the armour. Any upgrades to this spell tend to lean towards one use or the other - increasing its damage makes it useless on allies, and giving it doublestack greatly encourages using it on allies instead. Be aware that this cannot be used to help your units that start with 5 or less health, unless you have other ways of increasing their Max HP (as is common for the Awoken).
