Alloy of the Ancients

Alloy of the ancients is a brilliant card that is almost never a bad pick. It can help protect your champion, fortify a tanky frontline unit, or protect a squishy backliner from sweep and spikes (or even keep it alive until its respective tank gets drawn). This card works particularly well with doublestack, or alternatively you can consider removing the consume effect (both will probably result in a card that is too expensive). This is a very good spell for impish scholar to return. It goes without saying that this card slots very well into armor based decks.
